As a recent Arlington High School graduate (Class of 2020) and a lifetime member of the Arlington community, I wanted to express my support for Mayor Barb Tolbert’s re-election. Her dedication to creating opportunities for young people like me is evident in programs like the Youth Council and AHS career internships. I served four years and was a founding member of the Youth Council, and it showed me that Mayor Barb’s administration empowers youth to engage with our community and gain valuable and memorable experiences.
Mayor Barb’s vision for Arlington as a city where young people can thrive is welcomed by many of my peers. We believe that her leadership will help us shape our future, living in a city that values our contributions and opinions. I strongly encourage Arlington voters to cast their vote for Mayor Tolbert this November.
