Clark Park gazebo: Allow homeless a place out of rain

The Everett City Council wants to remove the gazebo in Clark Park so the dogs can run free (“Everett to replace historic Clark Park gazebo with a new dog park,” The Herald, Jan. 29) Really?

That is the only place homeless people can gather to stay out of the rain 90 nights a year! So they use drugs to deal with a miserable life. Big deal. A lot of our leaders drink alcohol to deal with theirs, but it is in a nice cozy, warm, dry castle.

I urge the council to leave these people be. They are people! Seems oue city has gone dog crazy enough!
