Ronald Reagan once said, “We must reject the idea that every time a law is broken, society is guilty, rather than the lawbreaker.” I disagree with this.
What influences do cultural values have on the individual? How can legislation allowing the murder of a new-born baby possibly instill an appreciation for the sanctity and value of human life? I am merely profoundly disappointed. But a society whose God is solely made of material and which is guided by godless pragmatism is sure to nurture disillusionment, disrespect, depression, and psychosis.
