This is for the lady who voluntarily came to my rescue Nov. 6, after I had waited for over an hour or a taxi. When there are so many negative feelings about people’s behavior, it is wonderful (and gratifying) to suddenly have a stranger come along and cheerfully say “I’ll take you home” – and with a wonderful smile.
I did have a monthly cart of groceries and this lady even carried them to my door. She even determinedly refused my offer to pay for her service. I’m very elated and grateful that there are so many kind individuals. Thank you so much.
