First off, thank you for continuing to publish The Herald. I have been a subscriber for many, many years and have always looked forward to reading your publication. Also, thank you for bringing back Carolyn Hax’s column.
I know the industry has had to make changes over these past few years, which means some features are canceled. There are two such features that I am hoping others have written you about so that they will be brought back.
The first one is This Day In History. I truly loved reading that piece to reminisce and be reminded of things that have happened during my life. I also learned about things that have happened in history.
The second column I hope you are able to bring back is in the Sports section of the paper. The Herald used to have running tallies of the various sports college and professional teams around the nation and their standings. I loved to be able to look for a specific team, not necessarily from Washington, and sees their scores against their opponents and where they stand in regards to playoffs.
Again, I really hope you are able to bring back these 2 columns.
