I’d like to retract my vote for Sheriff Fortney

Is it too late to retract my vote? I voted for Adam Fortney for sheriff. I didn’t agree with then Sheriff Ty Trenary’s decision to terminate an officer based on the report of one incident. While Fortney’s promise to review Trenary’s judgement call smacked of “blue code,” it sounded necessary.

I voted. Now, the newly elected sheriff says he does not intend to enforce the state “stay ay home” law. He was not elected governor, only sheriff. I will not forget next election; he chose not to protect my health in accordance with directives by the highest state official. Scofflaws do not cut it at any level.
