Jerry Wood has time to serve our town

Election year is here again, time for citizens of Gold Bar to elect a new mayor.

Candidate Colleen Hawkins works outside the county and leaves before we open city hall in the mornings, and doesn’t arrive back in town until after city hall is closed. Since she works in King County five days a weeks, when will she conduct city business for Gold Bar?

Candidate Jerry Wood has the expertise and time to do an outstanding job.

Jerry Wood has lived in the city for over 23 years, has a good background in management and would have a great working relationship with our present staff. He is respected in the community and raised a wonderful family of three children. Jerry Wood is presently co-owner in a business enterprise. He has the time to be in the office every day of the week. An absentee mayor is not what we need at the present, nor should the citizens have to pay for someone who is not available to staff and citizens.

Think about it and you’ll make a wise decision to elect Jerry Wood, the best man for the job.
