Lawsuit against county is relevant

It is unbelievable to me that a man plagued by “stress and personal hardship” extensive enough to warrant a huge lawsuit against the county could be running for an elected office. As I recall that was part of the basis for the lawsuit.

The Herald has done some very informative reporting on candidates and election issues this fall. However, I feel the history and present status of this lawsuit and how it might affect Randy Nichols’ job performance if elected should be investigated by and reported in our local newspaper. This appears to be an issue that informed voters should know.
