New name will confuse people

I agree with recent letters about the name change of Highway 99. Why would you change a name that’s been there since they built Highway 99, and it’s a highway number that’s on all the maps since way back when it was built. Stewart Highway will just confuse everyone. Will all businesses have to change their addresses? How about the phone directory? Also, who will pay for all this? Doesn’t the public get any say any more? Is it just added onto our taxes?
