We are very disappointed in our local Arlington postal carriers. After putting out food for the annual Letter Carriers Food Drive on Saturday, May 11, we received in our box a notice from our carrier that “The Arlington Post Office was not participating the annual drive this year”. The note said if we wanted to donate that we were to deliver it ourselves to the Food Bank in Arlington on Cox Avenue.
We feel what they are really saying is that they do not care about the people of Arlington that must rely on the Food Bank for much needed food.
