Until the infrastructure is built and in place and suppling all the power needed for the region, the Snake River dams currently suppling power need to remain. Those who are calling for the dams to be removed now, need to “walk the walk” and find another source of electricity for themselves and disconnect from any power company that gets their power from the dams.
Removing the dams now would leave millions without power when needed. Also, when farming’s water needs are guaranteed from other sources the dams need to remain, After the infrastructure is all in, then the discussion of removing the dams can begin. If the tribes and others want to save more salmon, then stop fishing.
