I have nothing but positive words for the state Department of Health’s covid Paxlovid virtual visit program. Following a positive covid test, local clinics were too inundated to help me. Finally I Googled my way to finding this program.
Such a great resource. It was easy to sign in and give my health profile, then there was a message that a provider would join me in five to 10 minutes. In three minutes a nurse practitioner from Auburn joined my telehealth visit. She was kind, helpful and insisted that I call the pharmacy during the call to make sure that Paxlovid was in stock. Within two hours of a diagnosis, I had meds in hand.
This program is valuable and appreciated.
