Thanks for quick response to break-in

I would like to say thanks to the 911 operators and Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office for their quick response and professionalism on Dec. 9. I had left my house for 20 minutes and came home to find two uninvited guests helping themselves to my belongings, so I called 911. The first officer arrived within 4 minutes, and shortly after that they had the area surrounded, along with nine deputies (that I saw), not counting the three unmarked vehicles that were driving around, plus one very helpful police dog. They caught one of the individuals shortly thereafter.

All this was possible because of the number of officers and their quick response. I believe if this happened in a small city they probably would not have caught him, only because fewer officers would be available to respond.

I live in the area that Mukilteo is trying to annex. Mukilteo does not have the recources that the Sheriff’s Office has. This has me convinced that 12 police officers and one dog is better than fewer police officers.

Sorry, no annexation for me. Thanks again to the Sheriff’s Office and the 911 operators.
