U.S. 2 work through Sultan has been needed for years

We have family members who have lived in Sultan for years, and so we have traveled U.S. 2 for years and for years the traffic has gotten steadily worse (“As Sultan grows, city back a 4-lane highway with roundabouts,” The Herald, June 18). And for even more years whoever is responsible for fixing the mess has done little to alleviate the daily tie ups that occur.

And it’s even worse on weekends. The state, the feds, who or whomever is responsible for doing something, please do something for a change.
