Volunteers, staff are all outstanding

I am very honored and grateful to have received special recognition for my volunteer years serving the American Red Cross. Recently, our local Snohomish County chapter honored their many volunteers at a recognition dinner. They have an outstanding staff and volunteers.

As a result of The Herald’s June 26 article, featuring me on behalf of the Snohomish County American Red Cross Chapter, I am receiving an overwhelming number of calls, mailings and acknowledgements. I am sincerely grateful to all.

Most important and foremost I want everyone to remember the large Red Cross in the picture. It stands for the years of services locally, nationally and worldwide.
