We shouldn’t waste money on analysts

It’s almost comical to watch the PUD commissioners squabbling over having personal analysts. They don’t need analysts. Actually, Ed Hansen has more proven management, business and legal capability than the commissioners combined. Recall how he guided Everett out of a deep fiscal crisis.

With a general manager as capable as Ed Hansen there is no need for commissioners. They won’t go away, of course, but we shouldn’t waste $350,000 a year on private analysts.
