A three-bedroom split-level near Port Gardner Bay between Everett and Mukilteo is our featured home today. It was built in 1999 and the property includes a detached shop and garden-equipment storage area.
The entry foyer is open to the second level and has two staircases — one leading up to the main living area and all bedrooms, the other leading down to a rec room, laundry room-half bathroom combination, a bonus room and garage access.
The upper level is dominated by a great-room incorporating a formal living room, dining area and kitchen.
Features of the living room include oatmeal cut-pile carpeting, crown molding, vaulted cathedral ceiling, a bay window facing the street, and a corner gas fireplace trimmed with tile.
Oak flooring is used in the dining area and kitchen. Other highlights of the U-shaped kitchen include oak cabinets, black granite tile countertops, white-on-white appliances, and a large window above the sink.
A sliding glass door in the dining area opens to a wraparound deck that has a spacious entertainment area with an enclosed storage area for a gas barbecue and other seasonal items.
Off the great-room, a hall leads to a full bathroom, two bedrooms and the owners’ suite.
The bathroom is finished with vinyl flooring, an elongated single vanity topped with tile, a skylight and a shower-tub combination with faux white tile fiberglass surround.
Highlights of the owners’ suite include crown molding, two double closets enclosed with sliding doors, and a three-quarter bathroom with wood-tone laminate flooring, crown molding, a skylight, an elongated single vanity topped with black granite tile, and a corner shower with fiberglass surround.
One bedroom overlooks the street and has crown molding and a double closet with sliding door.
The second bedroom is at the side of the house, with an oversized window and a glass door that accesses the wraparound deck.
On the lower level, the combination laundry room-half bathroom has vinyl flooring, an elongated single oak vanity topped with laminate, and a window overlooking the street.
The rec room has crown molding and two oversized windows. The bonus room is off the attached garage and is large enough to accommodate exercise equipment, an upright freezer and more. The room also has outside access to a covered aggregate patio.
The house has surround sound and forced-air heat.
