This week’s featured new home has four bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms, and is situated on a 1.25-acre lot on Camano Island.

Built by Silvana Construction LLC, the two-story home extends over 2,880 square feet and includes an attached, three-car garage and a space for RV parking.

The home is served by a septic tank, a private well and propane, forced air furnace and hot water heater. It also has a built-in security system, Category V wiring, surround sound and wiring for satellite television.

The Swedish-finished, red oak decking that covers the entry floor extends into much of the main level.

Formal living and dining rooms are positioned to the immediate right. The living room, which has a ceiling open to the second level, has upgraded carpeting and several wood-wrapped windows.

The dining room has an arched opening supported by two columns, a coffered ceiling with crown molding, indirect lighting and a chandelier that matches the one in the foyer.

The kitchen has a massive, granite slab center island that serves as a breakfast bar. There are also raised-panel maple cabinets with crown molding, custom ceramic tile countertops and backsplashes, a stainless steel appliance package and a four-burner gas cooktop set into the island.

Other features include a large walk-in pantry, a built-in desk with a pigeonhole organizer and overhead cabinets and a stainless steel sink in a corner position. An informal eating area has a clear glass storefront door that opens to an oversized, exposed aggregate patio.

Completing the main floor is a family room, powder room and the garage. The family room’s focal point is a gas fireplace with a granite slab hearth, a river rock frame and a wood surround and mantel.

An angled staircase with wrought iron balusters and a maple railing leads upstairs. At the top is a loft with a partial wall that overlooks the living room below. The area is open and has an abundance of natural light.

The upstairs level has a generously proportioned master suite with a five-piece bath, three additional bedrooms, another full bath and a utility room.

French doors open to the master, which features a vaulted ceiling with a paddle fan light fixture and an extended plant shelf running the length of an interior wall. The master bath includes a ceramic tile floor, a double vanity topped with tile, a skylight, a freestanding walk-in shower with a tile surround and a clear glass enclosure and a step-up corner soaker tub.

The remaining three bedrooms are served by a full bath located at the end of the hall. The bathroom has a single vanity topped with tile, complementary vinyl flooring, a built-in medicine cabinet and a shower/tub combination.

The utility room has a laminate-topped folding table, a built-in laundry tub and a vanity mirror.
