A four-bedroom, 2.5-bath rambler on a five-acre lot northeast of Stanwood is our featured home today. It was built in 2000 and is at the end of a private cul-de-sac.
The home’s front door opens to a foyer with tile flooring. To the immediate right is a combination living room/dining room with hardwood flooring. Other features include a vaulted ceiling, windows overlooking the front and side yards, and a woodburning stove.
A kitchen with center island is adjacent to the dining room. It has hardwood flooring, knotty pine cabinets, granite tile countertops, stainless steel appliances, vaulted cathedral ceiling with three skylights, a work station, breakfast bar, and a greenhouse window above the sink.
A family room off the kitchen has hardwood flooring, a sliding glass door accessing an aggregate and brick patio, and a corner gas fireplace with faux river rock surround.
A hall to the left of the foyer leads to the four bedrooms, a full bathroom and the laundry room.
The first bedroom faces the street and has cut-pile oatmeal-colored carpeting, an oversized window, and a double closet with natural wood bifold doors.
The owner’s suite is at the back of the house. Its highlights include the same carpet as the first bedroom, a sliding glass door accessing the patio, and a five-piece bathroom. The bathroom has a jetted oval tub with tile surround beneath a picture window overlooking the back yard, an elongated double vanity topped with tile, a skylight, tile flooring, and an oversized shower with faux white tile fiberglass surround.
A walk-in closet completes the suite.
The second bedroom is at the side of the house and has off-white plush carpeting, an oversized window, and a double closet with natural wood bifold doors.
The third bedroom is also at the side of the house and has the same carpet and closet at the second one.
Features of the full bathroom include vinyl flooring, an elongated single vanity topped with laminate, and a shower-tub combination with faux white tile fiberglass surround.
The laundry room is positioned at the end of the hall and has vinyl flooring, built-in cabinets and utility sink, and a toilet room.
The home has an attached three-car garage and a propane forced-air heating system. The property includes a storage building and a workshop, and the back yard is partially fenced.
