This week’s featured house is a three-bedroom, 2.5-bath, two-story in the Waterford at Tambark Village subdivision near Mill Creek.
The main floor has formal living and dining rooms, kitchen and informal dining area, family room, home office, powder room, utility room and a two-car garage.
A switchback staircase with white spindles and skylight leads upstairs to a master suite with sitting area, two more bedrooms and a full bath with double vanity, and a loft.
The foyer has a vaulted ceiling and is decked with Brazilian cherry plank flooring that extends through much of the main level.
Open to the second level, the living room is to the immediate left. It has a lower bay window and upper-level clerestory that let in natural light. An arched opening supported by circular columns leads to the dining room.
The dining room has a nine-foot ceiling with white enamel molding, large window and a chandelier.
Sliding glass doors open from the nook to an exposed aggregate patio that extends the length of the house. A pantry closet provides additional storage.
The family room has a gas fireplace with ceramic tile hearth and border with elongated decorator shelf, transom window and arch with radius corners. Adjacent is a built-in entertainment alcove.
The utility room has a washer-dryer, and the powder room has a ceramic-topped single vanity and frosted glass window.
French doors open to the master suite, which has a vaulted ceiling. A separate sitting area includes a gas fireplace. The large sleeping area has a walk-in closet and bathroom.
The bathroom has a skylight, double vanity with ceramic tile, toilet room, soaker tub and a freestanding, walk-in shower with ceramic tile surround and clear glass enclosure.
The other two bedrooms face the front of the house. One has a walk-in closet and the other an oversized, clerestory window. Nearby is a full bath with a double vanity, laminate countertop and vinyl flooring, and a shower-tub combination.
