A three-bedroom, 2.5-bath, Craftsman-style two-story on Camano Island is our featured home today. It was built in 2000 and is on a nearly one-third acre lot on a private cul-de-sac in the Cavalero Estates neighborhood of the Camano Country Club. The home’s front and back yards are abundantly planted with flowers and shrubs.
The front door opens to a small foyer area with oak flooring. To the right is a formal dining room with coved ceiling, windows overlooking the front yard, and pale neutral plush carpeting. The same carpeting is used throughout the home.
Straight ahead of the foyer is a great-room encompassing a family room, kitchen and informal dining area.
The family room has a vaulted cathedral ceiling, two windows overlooking the back yard, and a gas fireplace with faux river rock surround and slate hearth.
The adjacent informal dining area has oak flooring windows overlooking the back yard, and a sliding glass door accessing an aggregate patio and the back yard.
Features of the U-shaped kitchen include oak flooring, 12-inch tile countertops, oak cabinets, recessed lighting, white-on-white appliances, a breakfast bar, and a window above the sink.
A laundry room off the kitchen has tile flooring, built-in cabinets, and two doors — one accessing the home’s two-car garage, the accessing a half bathroom with oak flooring and single vanity.
A master suite completes the entry level. It is situated at the front of the house, with windows facing the street. Master bathroom highlights include tile flooring, an oval soaker tub with tile surround beneath corner windows, an elongated double vanity topped with tile, and an oversized shower stall with faux white tile fiberglass surround and two shower heads.
A staircase near the foyer ascends to the second level, which includes the two remaining bedrooms, a full bathroom, and a large bonus room.
One bedroom overlooks the front yard, the other the back yard. Both have double closets with bifold doors.
Features of the full bathroom are vinyl flooring, elongated single vanity, and a shower-tub combination with faux white tile fiberglass surround.
The property includes a hot tub, fire pit, horseshoe pit, and a greenhouse with electricity and heat.
