This week’s featured home is a four-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom, two-story home located on a one-acre lot at Espe Estates subdivision near Bryant, north of Arlington.

The home was built by Hansen and Hansen and is heated by propane. It measures 2,283 square feet and includes a septic system and a well.

Oak flooring in the entry extends into the hall, kitchen, nook and powder room. The foyer is open to the second level and brightened by leaded glass windows, a hanging alabaster chandelier and a window on the second level.

Paned glass French doors open to a home office with a wood-wrapped window, plush carpeting and radius corners.

Formal living and dining rooms are situated on the opposite side. The living room is highlighted by a soaring, 12-foot ceiling, two large vertical windows overlooking the front of the home and an arched opening into the dining room.

The dining room is generously proportioned and provides a formal eating area that complements the informal eating nook on the opposite side of the kitchen.

An island-design kitchen features alder-paneled cabinets with crown molding, granite slab countertops, an under-mount stainless steel sink, a walk-in pantry with a frosted glass door and a stainless steel appliance package that includes a four-burner gas stove, a built-in microwave and a dishwasher.

The main level also has a large family room, a powder room, a utility room and a three-car garage that’s wired for electric door openers. The family room has a gas fireplace trimmed with a ceramic tile border and formal wood surround.

The powder room includes a single vanity topped with tile and the utility has a built-in laundry tub and a ventilated wire storage shelf.

A staircase ascends upstairs where a computer workstation alcove is positioned on the landing. The master suite, situated on the immediate right, features a large sleeping area with an extended picture window that frames a private back yard.

Complementing the sleep area is a five-piece bathroom and a large walk-in wardrobe closet. Bathroom features include an oval soaker tub encased in a ceramic tile deck and surround, a freestanding shower with a tile surround and clear glass enclosure, a double vanity and a private toilet area. Inside the wardrobe are multi-tiered, ventilated wire storage shelves on three walls.

The home is completed with three additional bedrooms are served by an upstairs full bath. Two bedrooms face the front of the property with the third overlooking a side yard. All are completed with paneled bi-fold doors enclosing standard closets, wood-wrapped windows, frosted light fixtures, and phone and cable jacks.
