This week’s featured new home is a three-bedroom, two-bath rambler located at Wallace River Estates in Gold Bar. The Wallace River is a short walk away, Wallace Falls State Park is also close by, and the Cascade Mountains tower to the east.

Vitals include a natural gas forced-air furnace and hot water tank, city water, and septic system. All bedrooms include phone and cable jacks. The three-car garage is enclosed by single doors including one electric opener and wiring for two more.

Hickory flooring covers the entry and extends into the hall. To the immediate right, an access door opens to the completely finished garage, which includes a large window and walk door to the back yard.

A great-room is positioned to the immediate left and includes a soaring vaulted ceiling, plush carpeting, rounded corners, and an extended bay window that frames the mountain views. The dining area is completed with a window that faces a side yard, along with an Alabaster chandelier with antique finish.

Steps away is the kitchen, augmented by an informal nook eating area. Oak paneled cabinets with crown molding are complemented by laminate countertops, vinyl flooring, two-compartment stainless steel sink, breakfast bar and stainless steel appliances. The appliances include a four-burner gas cooktop, over-the-range microwave and built-in dishwasher. A second bay window is in the nook, which overlooks the large back yard.

A generously proportioned family room completes the home’s main living area. This space is highlighted by a vaulted ceiling, partial walls with plant shelves, gas log-burning fireplace trimmed with ceramic tile, and sliding glass doors that open to an ample, exposed-aggregate patio.

A short hallway leads to the bedroom wing of the rambler. A space-saving utility closet is positioned along the left and enclosed by paneled bifold doors. Other features include a ventilated wire storage shelf and vinyl flooring.

The owners’ suite includes a spacious sleeping area, corner recessed lighting and a large window. The suite is completed with a walk-in wardrobe closet lined with wire storage shelves on three walls, and a full bath.

Features of the suite’s bathroom include a single vanity topped with laminate and oak backsplash, full-length mirror with amber hue Alabaster light fixtures, and a shower/tub combination with faux white tile fiberglass surround.

Completing the home are two additional bedrooms served by a second full bath. Both bedrooms are completed with paneled bifold doors enclosing standard closets, windows facing side yards and frosted/fluted light fixtures.

The bathroom includes a single vanity with laminate top and full-width mirror, matching vinyl flooring, Alabaster light fixtures and a shower/tub combination with faux white tile fiberglass wrap.
