According to Brian McIntyre, who runs a fantastic football blog, the Seahawks have activated CB Josh Pinkard from the reserve/non-football injury list. Pinkard, who the Seahawks signed as an undrafted free agent, played for Pete Carroll at USC, but his career was marred by knee injuries. Pinkard started practicing with the Seahawks three weeks ago, meaning the Seahawks had to decide this week weather to activate him or put him on injured reserve.
McIntyre also reports that the Seahawks have released QB Zac Robinson and T Breno Giacomini, both of whom were signed off the practice squad last week. Both will likely go back on the practice squad if they clear waivers.
UPDATE
A team spokesman has confirmed the moves.
