EVERETT — The Tri-City Dust Devils scored six runs in the top of the fourth inning and rolled to a 10-4 win over Everett on Thursday night to snap the AquaSox’s nine-game win streak.
Kyren Paris delivered the big blow in the decisive inning for the Dust Devils with a three-run home run.
James Parker went 2-for-3 with a home run for an AquaSox offense that was limited to just five total hits in the game. Dariel Gomez drove in two runs and Alberto Rodriguez hit his 15th double of the season.
Jimmy Joyce started on the mound for Everett (29-30) and allowed six earned runs on five hits in 3.2 innings. Joyce struck out eight, but also walked five batters.
Gabe Matthews went 3-for-5 with two home runs and four RBI for Tri-City (26-30).
