Explosion blows up in NABL debut

SALEM, Ore. — The Salem Stampede routed Snohomish County 145-95 on Saturday night, handing the Explosion its worst defeat in franchise history.
Rookie and former Sultan High School standout Shawn Wolters led the Explosion with 23 points in the team’s National Athletic Basketball League debut. Snohomish County played last season in the International Basketball League, finishing fourth.
