Four different players score as Silvertips down rival T-birds

Ben Hemmerling and Jackson Berezowski put Everett up for good with goals in the second period.

KENT — Ben Hemmerling and Jackson Berezowski put the Everett Silvertips up with goals in the second period and the Silvertips held on for a win over the rival Seattle Thunderbirds on Saturday at ShoWare Center.

Alex Swetlikoff and Ryan Hofer added goals for Everett (37-9-3-5, 82 points).

Jared Davidson, Mekai Sanders and Jordan Gustafson netted goals for Seattle (34-15-4-1, 73).

Silvertips goaltender Koen MacInnes made 31 saves in 34 chances to improve to 17-5-4 on the season.

Seattle’s Thomas Milic fell to 22-13-2 while stopping 22 of 26 shots.
