EVERETT — The Everett AquaSox allowed nine runs over the first three innings and fell 9-1 to the Spokane Indians on Sunday at Funko Field.
Ronaiker Palma went 3-for-4 with four RBI, including a two-run triple in the fourth. Eddy Diaz added a trio of hits as eight different Indians (11-10) recorded at least one hit.
Spokane starter Andrew Quezada (2-0) pitched five scoreless innings and struck out three, allowing three hits and four walks along the way.
Trent Tingelstad went 2-for-3 and Dariel Gomez drove in a run with a double in the eighth for the AquaSox (7-13).
Everett starter Brayan Perez (0-1) recorded just five outs and allowed five runs on seven hits and three walks. He struck out two.
