GALLERY: Class of 2022 inducted in county sports Hall of Fame

The nine new members, plus The Herald’s Man and Woman of the Year in Sports, were honored at a banquet Wednesday evening.

EVERETT — The Snohomish County Sports Hall of Fame Class of 2022 was inducted during a banquet Wednesday night at the Edward D. Hansen Conference Center at Angel of the Winds Arena in Everett.

The class included athletes Carol Quarterman Kummerle (swimming), Bianca Rowland (volleyball), Grady Sizemore (baseball) and Darrell Storkson (bowling); coaches Enoch Bagshaw (football) and Ernie Goshorn (cross country and track and field); sports contributors Jim Carter (football official) and Robert Polk (athletic director); and the 1982 Arlington High School girls basketball team.

The Herald’s Man of the Year in Sports, Jean-Luc Baker, and The Herald’s Woman of the Year in Sports, Jadyn Edwards, were also honored at the event.
