Holt, Silvertips shut out Chiefs

SPOKANE — Alex Swetlikoff, Austin Roest and Matthew Ng each scored, and Braden Holt stopped all 20 shots he faced as the Everett Silvertips beat the Spokane Chiefs 3-0 on Tuesday evening at Veterans Memorial Arena.

Swetlikoff’s goal, his 26th of the season, opened the scoring at 4:33 in the first period. Aidan Sutter and Hunter Campbell were credited with assists on the score.

Roest added to the total with a goal at 4:36 in the second, assisted again by Sutter and Campbell.

Ng added an insurance goal at 16:52 in the third on an assist from Roest.

Holt’s shutout was his third of the season for Everett (39-9-3-5).

Mason Beaupit stopped 39 of 42 shots he faced for Spokane (19-33-4-1).
