EVERETT — Dariel Gomez and James Parker hit back-to-back home runs in a three-run seventh inning as the Everett AquaSox rallied for a 3-2 win over the Spokane Indians on Saturday night at Funko Field.
Gomez launched a two-run home run to tie the game before Parker’s solo blast gave Everett a lead it would not relinquish.
Jimmy Joyce started on the mound for the AquaSox and tossed seven stellar innings. Joyce allowed two runs on just two hits while striking out eight and walking three. Jorge Benitez struck out three over the final 1.1 innings to earn the save.
Parker finished with two of the four total hits in the game for Everett (55-63).
Case Williams struck out nine in seven strong innings for Spokane (60-56), which managed just two hits on offense.
