Quarterfinals (non-elimination)

Jackson 6, Inglemoor 0

EVERETT — Yanina Sherwood struck out 10 and allowed just one hit in a shutout in the circle as second-seeded Jackson beat No. 7 Inglemoor in the non-elimination quarterfinals of the 4A District 1/2 Tournament.

Rachel Sysum went 2-for-3 with a home run, double and two RBI, and Simone Williams, Kiana Holden and Addison Bale each drove in a run for Jackson (20-1), which advanced and will face No. 3 Skyline in the winner-to-state semifinals at 4 p.m. on Wednesday at Phil Johnson Ballfields.

Inglemoor (13-11) fell into the consolation bracket and will take on No. 9 Redmond in a loser-out game at 4 p.m. on Wednesday.

Bothell 3, Glacier Peak 1

EVERETT — Eighth-seeded Glacier Peak won a loser-out game against defending-state-champion Redmond in the opening round, but fell to top-seeded Bothell in the non-elimination quarterfinals of the 4A District 1/2 Tournament.

Glacier Peak (16-4) will next face No. 10 Issaquah in a consolation loser-out game at 4 p.m. on Wednesday at Phil Johnson Ballfields. The Grizzlies will need three wins in loser-out games to reach the state tournament.

Bothell (23-0) advanced to face No. 4 Eastlake in the winner-to-state semifinals at 4 p.m. on Wednesday.

Eastlake 6, Kamiak 5

EVERETT — Ffith-seeded Kamiak fell in a nail-biter to No. 4 Eastlake in the non-elimination quarterfinals of the 4A District 1/2 Tournament.

Kamiak (17-4), will next face the winner of No. 9 Redmond vs. No. 7. Inglemoor in a loser-out consolation game at 6 p.m. on Wednesday at Phil Johnson Ballfields. The Knight will need to win two loser-out games to reach the state tournament.

Eastlake (13-10) advanced to face top-seeded Bothell in the winner-to-state semifinals at 4 p.m. on Wednesday.
