Reader poll: final evaluation

The season has come to a close for the Silvertips. The Tips came into the season with few expectations because of massive player losses, surprised during the first half, then faded during the second half, finishing 27-36-7-2, the team’s first losing campaign in its six seasons. That put Everett at fourth in the U.S. Division, seventh in the Western Conference, and the Tips lost 4-1 to the Tri-City Americans in the first round of the playoffs.
