Silvertips’ Bryce Kindopp picks up WHL player of week honor

The overager forward recorded six points over the weekend

The Western Hockey League announced on Monday that Silvertips forward Bryce Kindopp was named the league’s player of the week after accumulating six points (three goals, three assists) over two games to open the season.

Kindopp, the team’s captain, posted a goal and an assist in Everett’s season-opening 4-2 loss to Tri-City on Friday and erupted for four points, two goals and two assists, to lead the Silvertips to a 6-0 rout over Victoria on Saturday.
