Bishop Blanchet 5, Edmonds-Woodway 4: At Edmonds, against a non-league opponent, the Warriors lost their season opener in extra innings as Blanchet’s Julie Preuninger drove in a run with a hit to the left-center gap. For Edmonds-Woodway, Annika Lindberg was 2-for-3 with two RBI, Kelli Hansen was 2-for-4 with one RBI and Erika Hayes batted 2-for-4 with one RBI. Emily Dean struck out ten batters.
