Studs defeat Everett Merchants 14-8

EVERETT — Sam Linscott and Jaxsen Sweum had two hits apiece for the Everett Merchants, who fell 14-8 to the Seattle-Cheney Studs on Wednesday at Funko Field at Everett Memorial Stadium.
Linscott and Sweum each drove in a run and scored another.
Nic Anderson went 1-for-3 with a run scored and an RBI for Everett.
