The Monroe racetrack’s premier event for Super Late Models is this weekend.

The seventh annual Summer Showdown, Evergreen Speedway’s premier race for Super Late Models, takes place this weekend at the Monroe racetrack. Qualifying on the five-eighths-of-a-mile track is Friday afternoon, with the 200-lap main event set for Saturday evening. The winner pockets $25,000. Here’s what you need to know:

Friday

3:30 p.m. — Gates open

4:30 p.m. — Super Late Models qualifying

5:45 p.m. — Driver meet and greet in the stands

6:30 p.m. — Opening ceremonies followed by:

Mini Stocks main event (50 laps)

Legends main event (50 laps)

Super Late Models qualifying heats (25 laps)

Saturday

12:00 p.m. — Gates open

2:00 p.m. — Columbia River Legends qualifying

4:00 p.m. — Super Late Models last chance qualifier (50 laps, tentative)

5:00 p.m. — Columbia River Legends main event (50 laps)

5:45 p.m. — Super Stocks main event (50 laps)

6:30 p.m. — Opening ceremonies

7:00 p.m. — Summer Showdown main event
