Blake Conyers | Lakewood | Boys Basketball

Conyers, a sophomore forward, made some clutch shots in the second half Saturday to help the Cougars clinch a Class 2A Hardwood Classic berth with a 53-49 win over Franklin Pierce. Conyers finished with a team-high 13 points.

Defense | Arlington | Girls Basketball

The third-seeded Eagles allowed just seven first-half points in their 56-32 rout of sixth-seeded Lake Washington in a Class 3A state regional playoff game Saturday. Arlington held the Kangaroos 21.7 points below their season average of 53.7 per contest.

Luke Dobler | Marysville Pilchuck | Boys Basketball

Dobler, a senior, scored a team-high 27 points — including three clutch free throws with 8.5 seconds remaining to force overtime — in the Tomahawks’ 81-71 loss to Kamiakin on Saturday in a Class 3A state regional playoff game.

Brayden Quantrille | Glacier Peak | Boys Basketball

Quantrille, a senior wing, scored 19 points, grabbed six rebounds and handed out four assists Saturday in the Grizzlies’ 69-43 win over Auburn in a Class 4A state regional playoff game. With the victory, Glacier Peak improved to 24-0.

Austin Townsend | Marysville Getchell | Boys Basketball Townsend, a junior forward, made two clutch free throws with 5.1 seconds remaining in the game to help the Chargers beat Mount Tahoma 54-51 Friday in a Class 3A state regional playoff game. With the victory, Marysville Getchell advanced to the Hardwood Classic for the first time in program history. Townsend finished with 13 points.

Lilly Williams | Meadowdale | Girls Basketball

Williams, a senior wing, scored 15 points in the Mavericks’ 55-49 loss to Hudson’s Bay on Saturday in a Class 3A state regional playoff game.
