EVERETT — Charlie Welch had four hits and six RBI in his first game with Everett since June 23, but the AquaSox lost to the Vancouver Canadians 12-8 on Tuesday night at Funko Field.
Welch returned from a stint on the injured list with three doubles and reached base in all five of his plate appearances.
Dariel Gomez hit his team-leading 22nd home run of the season and Victor Labrada had three hits, including a solo home runs, and scored four runs for the AquaSox.
Jimmy Joyce started on the mound for Everett (50-58) and labored through 3.1 innings. Joyce allowed eight runs on five hits while walking five and striking out five.
PK Morris homered twice and Rainer Nunez added a two-run blast for Vancouver (55-50).
