WIBCA announces 2016 award winners

The Washington Interscholastic Basketball Coaches Association recently announced its award winners for the 2015-16 season.
The 2016 Mr. Basketball award went to Peninsula’s JaQuori McLaughlin. WIBCA also named at least one player of the year for each classification. The 4A player of the year was Bellarmine Prep’s Malachi Flynn, the 3A player of the year was Lakeside’s Isiah Brown, the 2A co-players of the year were Lynden’s Sterling Somers and Clarkston’s Trevon Allen, the 1A co-players of the year were Lynden Christian’s Zach Roetcisoender and Castle Rock’s Brock Johnson, the 2B player of the year was Morton-White Pass’ Kaleb Poquette and the 1B player of the year was Almira Coulee Hartline’s Dallas Isaak.
