It’s time to show honest effort to stop cruelty

I am writing in regards to the animal cruelty issue. Law enforcement employees are people who should set examples for our society and they are people our society should and do look up to. We look to them for help when we need it.

We want our children to learn to respect the law and the people who enforce it. Sadly, though, it seems that it is becoming more and more the case where we cannot depend on the law or the law enforcement agencies. I know resources these days are in short supply but when you don’t even see an effort you begin to lose faith. I firmly believe that if people saw an honest effort from our law makers and our law enforcement agencies that life today might take a turn for the better.
