Motorcyclist dies after collision with SUV

CAMANO ISLAND — A 34-year-old Lacey man died Saturday on Camano Island after the motorcycle he was riding collided with a car.

Russell Gienau was eastbound on Cross Island Road when his motorcycle collided with a westbound Chevrolet Blazer about 6:30 p.m., according to the Washington State Patrol.

Gienau died at the scene. The driver of the SUV was unhurt, according to the State Patrol.
