Time to renew our commitment to kids

It is almost time to vote on behalf of children and schools. The student program and school operation renewal levy for Monroe public schools is coming up on March 9.

We need strong schools that provide the tools and resources that our children need for a safe and quality education. Their future is our future.

The maintenance and operations levy funds provide funding for a substantial piece of basic operating costs and programs that are not covered by state funding. This levy does not cover new costs, only existing costs. As a community, we already voted yes in support of this levy – now it is time to renew that commitment.

Please remember to vote on March 9 and vote yes in favor of our children and schools.
