Thanks for offers of help after soccer game

I would like to thank the wonderful folks in Snohomish who came to the rescue of this “soccer dad” and his family.

After attending my daughter’s soccer game at Stocker Fields on Oct. 22, I experienced some car trouble. After numerous attempts to get the car started, spotty cell reception and the lateness of the time, we thought we were in big trouble, but no one left us stranded. Numerous people stopped to ask if we needed help, including a couple of mechanics. We even received offers to drive us back into Everett.

After a few hours of repairs and many phone calls, we were able to make our way home.

Thank you so much to the people who offered their assistance. My family and I greatly appreciated the way everyone went out of his or her way to get us home safe and sound.
