Soetaert returns to Silvertips

The Everett Silvertips announced Monday that Doug Soetaert is returning as the team’s general manager.

Soetaert served as GM of the expansion Silvertips through their first two seasons in the Western Hockey League.

He resigned in May of 2005 when he was named assistant general manager of the NHL’s Calgary Flames and president of the Flames’ minor-league affiliate in Omaha, Neb.
