Live from Oklahoma

I got into Oklahoma City about an hour ago, and it is definitely muggy. It’s not horrendously warm or uncomfortable, but it is certainly more humid than the Huskies will be used to. To me, that’s going to be the biggest key and factor to watch tomorrow: How will the UW’s lack of depth affect the game? Even if the Huskies get off to a decent start, will they have enough left to keep it up late?

I’m staying at the same hotel as the team and most of the media that covers the UW, and there was plenty of purple when I walked into the hotel.

There’s not much else to say that I haven’t already had stories about this week. The Daily Oklahoman had two stories of interest today.

The first http://newsok.com/article/2843508/?template=sports/ou talks about Washington’s fall from a top program to a rebuilding one. Again, not a lot of new information, but interesting reading it from the Oklahoma side.

The other http://newsok.com/article/2843510/ is a pretty good story about the driver of the Sooner Schooner during the famous (and only other) meeting between Washington and Oklahoma in the 1985 Orange Bowl.
