Road report

How to read your road report: Road restrictions may be near but not necessarily in the cities under which they are listed. Most restrictions are from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays. Any lane on the road could be closed between the two cross streets found in most listings.
* Carpool lane extension construction through Everett continues this week. Generally, through Oct. 1, up to three northbound and two southbound lanes of I-5 will be closed nightly through early Friday morning between Highway 526 (the Boeing Freeway) and E. Marine View Drive. Northbound closures begin at 7 p.m. and end by 6 a.m. Southbound closures begin at 8 p.m. and end by 4 a.m.
* Southbound I-5’s exit to 41st Street will be closed at night for more than a week starting today. The closure will start at 11 p.m. and end at 5 a.m. each night this week and continue through Sept. 19.
* The Highway 527 onramp to northbound I-5 at Highway 526 will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday nights. The closure will be from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. Detour using the interchange ramps at Highway 526. The detour will be marked.
* The northbound I-5 exit ramp to Highway 526 may be closed from 9:30 p.m. to 4 a.m. Wednesday. Closure and detour signs will be posted.
* One or more lanes of the westbound U.S. 2 exit ramp to California and Walnut streets may be closed from 9:30 p.m. to 4 a.m. Tuesday. Closure and detour signs will be posted.
* The westbound U.S. 2 ramp to southbound I-5 may be closed from 9:30 p.m. to 4 a.m. Wednesday. Closure and detour signs will be posted.
* The 41st Street overpass is closed for construction through Nov. 30.
* The right lane of southbound Broadway underneath 41st Street will be closed from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Tuesday and Wednesday nights.
* Related to the bridge, ramp and freeway work noted above, the state will close lanes and reroute drivers on several downtown Everett streets, including 36th Street, Smith Avenue, Pacific Avenue, 41st Street, Hewitt Avenue, Everett Avenue and Lowell Road-52nd Street. Closures may cause ramp and city street backups. Drivers are encouraged to use other routes.
* The paving of southbound I-5 from Highway 526 in Everett to 52nd Avenue W. in Lynnwood continues with night closures through Thursday. Closures begin at 7 p.m. and end by 5 a.m. Up to three lanes of southbound I-5 will be closed leaving at least one lane open. The northbound I-405 ramp to southbound I-5 will be closed 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday for paving. The southbound Highway 525 ramp to southbound I-5 will be closed from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Tuesday for paving.
* Up to three lanes of northbound I-5 will be closed near 112th Street SE in Everett from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. through Wednesday. Also, up to two lanes of southbound I-5 will be closed at 112th Street SE from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Wednesday through Friday. Placing concrete barrier at new park-and-ride and direct access ramp being built in the I-5 median.
Arlington
* Tronson Road between 260th Street NE and Stanwood-Bryant Road. Lane closed until Oct. 18. Sewer work.
Everett
* 112th Street SE from Third Avenue SE to Seventh Avenue SE. Westbound lane closed from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. until Oct. 16. Detour will be marked. Construction.
* One lane of Highway 529 will be closed from 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. until Friday so the bridge over the Snohomish River can be repaired. One southbound lane will be closed from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. until Friday.
* Northbound Highway 529 will be closed at Marine View Drive and N. Broadway from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. Friday. Draw bridge repair.
* Lowell-Larimer Road in 9100 block. Lane closed until Oct. 20. Utility work.
* 148th Street SW between 35th Avenue W. and Admiralty Way. Lane closed until Sept. 29. Construction.
* Manor Way between 136th Place SW and Admiralty Way. Road closed until Oct. 6. Construction.
* Riverview Road between Swan Slough Road and 69th Avenue SE west of Snohomish. Lane closed 24 hours daily through Sept. 18. Bank stabilization project.
Everett-Marysville
* 79th Avenue NE north of Soper Hill Road. Lane closed until Oct. 27. Frontage road improvements.
Everett-Mukilteo
* 119th Street SE west of Alexander Road. Lane closed until Oct. 13. Utility work.
Lake Stevens
* 28th Street NE in the 13300 block. Lane closed until Friday. Paving.
Marysville
* I-5 from the Ebey Slough Bridge at Marysville north to the Stillaguamish River Bridge. Cable barriers and guardrails will be installed in the freeway median. The left lane of northbound I-5 may be closed 7 p.m. to 11 a.m. through Thursday night. The left lane of southbound I-5 may be closed from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. through Thursday night. Drivers should watch for closure warning signs.
Marysville-Lake Stevens
* 71st Avenue NE between 39th Place NE and 40th Street NE. Lane closed until Oct. 6. Frontage road work.
Monroe
* N. High Rock Road between Highway 203 and 181st Place SE. Lane closure 24 hours daily extended through Sept. 22. Road repair. Emergency vehicles OK. Trucks longer than 35 feet have no access.
Snohomish
* 89th Avenue SE and 77th Street SE between 78th Street SE and 72nd Street SE. Road closed until Sept. 29. Construction.
* 228th Street SE east of 153rd Avenue SE and north of 155th Avenue SE. Lane closed until Sept. 29. Water main connection.
Alderwood Manor
* N. Danvers Road at 197th Street SW. Lane closure extended through Sept. 22. Frontage improvements.
* Filbert Road between Harvest and Grimes roads near Bothell. Lane closure through Sept. 29. Sewer line installation.
* Winesap Road between Sprague Drive and Winesap Lane. Lane closed until Tuesday. Sewer main installation and road paving.
Bothell
* 39th Avenue SE between 223rd Street SE and 228th Street SE. Lane closed through Oct. 27. Frontage improvements.
* 39th Avenue SE, south of 221st Place SE. Lane closed through Jan. 31. Water, sewer, utilities installation, frontage improvements.
* Travel lanes width reduced on 35th Avenue SE at 183rd Place SE north of Bothell through Nov. 25. Telephone service installation.
* 182nd Place SE and 183rd Place SE off 35th Avenue SE. Road closed through Oct. 2 for subdivision work.
Brier
* 228th Street SW east of 14th Avenue W. Lane closed through Sept. 29. Power pole installation.
* Southeast of Brier, lane closures at the intersections of Locust Way and 237th Place SW, Castle Way and 23rd Avenue W., Lockwood and Carter roads, and Carter Road and 228th Street SW. Fiber-optic cable installation extended through Sept. 29.
Clearview
* Cathcart Way in the 7400 block. Lane closed through Sept. 29 for school construction.
Ebey Island
* 60th Street SE between Home Acres Road and 61st Avenue NE between Everett and Snohomish. Lane closed until Oct. 4. Water main extension, water service installation.
Everett
* 120th Street SW and SE at Meridian Avenue. Lane closed through Sept. 22. Sewer connection installation.
* Lowell-Larimer Road, 9100 block. Lane closure until Oct. 6. Road repair.
* Pacific Avenue and Broadway intersection work continues. The project includes installation of a new traffic signal, widening of two right-turn lanes and new curbs and sidewalks. Weekdays 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. through September. A slight widening of right-turn lanes will be made on eastbound Pacific to Broadway and northbound Broadway to Pacific. Temporary sidewalks will be used as necessary
Lake Stevens
* Westbound Chapel Hill and southbound N. Davies roads. Intermittent lane closures through Dec. 15. Utilities installation, frontage improvements.
* 20th Street SE between S. Lake Stevens Road and 115th Avenue SE. Lane closures extended through Oct. 31. Frontage improvements.
* Sunnyside Boulevard from Ninth Street SE north one mile. Through Sept. 22, the road will be closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sewer line installation. Access for local traffic and emergency vehicles only during closure hours. Detour posted.
* 10th Street SE between 79th Avenue SE and Highway 204. Road closure until Friday. Sewer installation. Local access provided. Detour posted.
* S. Lake Stevens Road between 18th Street SE and S. Davies Road. Lane closed weekdays through Nov. 1. Utilities and frontage improvements.
* 113th Drive SE between 20th Street SE and 25th Street SE. Lane closed through Oct. 6. Sewer installation.
* 10th Street SE east of Highway 204. Lane closure until Friday. Utilities installation.
* 20th Street SE at 115th Avenue SE, 107th Street SE and 110th Drive SE. Lane closures through Sept. 29. Utilities and frontage improvements.
* Russell Road between 28th Street NE and the Pilchuck River bridge. Intermittent single-lane closures through Oct. 6.
Lynnwood
* Manor Way south of Admiralty Way north of Lynnwood. Lane closure through Sept. 20. Gas main connection.
* 156th Street SW, east of Admiralty Way, north of Lynnwood. Cul-de-sac closure through Dec. 1. Staging area for road project. Local access with delays.
Marysville
* Sunnyside Boulevard, between 33rd Place NE and 36th Street NE. Lane closure extended through Sept. 21. Water line installation, road widening.
Mill Creek
* Seattle Hill Road, between Bothell-Everett Highway and 17th Avenue SE. Lane closure extended through Sept. 29. Water, storm sewer and frontage improvements.
* East of Mill Creek, numerous lane and shoulder closures on or near Seattle Hill Road, Puget Park Drive, Silver Firs Drive, Cathcart Way, Cascade Drive. Extended through Sept. 29. Fiber-optic cable installation.
Monroe
* N. High Rock Road between Highway 203 and 181st Place SE. Lane closure 24 hours daily until Friday. Road repair. Emergency vehicles OK. Trucks longer than 35 feet have no access.
* 116th Street SE between Wagner Road and 227th Avenue SE. Road closed until Friday, including weekends, to all traffic including emergency vehicles. Detours posted. Culvert replacement.
* Highbridge Road and Mount Forest Boulevard intersection. Lane will be closed through Sept. 20. Electrical utility work.
Mountlake Terrace
* 244th Street SW between Cedar Way and 48th Avenue W. will be closed through September. Limited access. Detours posted. Terrace Ridge Lift station construction.
Mukilteo
* Wigen Road between 132nd Street SW and Lincoln Way southeast of Mukilteo, north of Lake Serene. Lane closure extended through Sept. 18 for utility installation and frontage improvements.
Silver Lake
* Verizon will install fiber-optic cable on county roads through Nov. 30. Possible lane closures on Highway 527 east to Highway 96, Lowell-Larimer Road, 132nd Street SE north to Everett city limits; 75th Avenue SE east of Highway 522 between 240th Street SE north to 224th Street SE; and 27th Avenue SE from 116th Street SE north to 88th Street SE.
Stanwood
* The Stanwood park-and-ride lot will be closed weekends from 8 p.m. Fridays to 4 a.m. Mondays through Oct. 2.
Sultan
* 339th Avenue SE in the 13500 block just north of Sultan. Road closed daily until Friday. Detour on Sultan Basin Road. No access, even for emergency vehicles.
* Skykomish Slough Bridge No. 150. Lane closed through mid-December. Wood bridge to be replaced with single-span concrete structure.
Tulalip
* 34th Avenue NE between 116th Street NE and 128th Street NE. Intermittent lane closures through Thursday. Paving.
