Here’s the Stats

Here we go:
Washington has seven first downs (I don’t remember any of them, to be honest), Stanford has three, two coming on the last drive.
Stanford has 12 rushes for minus-11 yards, mostly because of sacks, Washington has 38 yards on 19 carries, including 12 by Carl Bonnell. Stanford is 4-for-12 passing, Washington is 4-for-15.
But the good news? No turnovers!
Kenny James has 12 yards on eight carries in his first game back. Louis Rankin has five yards on three carries. Johnny DuRocher is 1-for-6.
Alright, my hands hurt from typing that, and my eyes hurt from reading it. Five minutes to go before what’s sure to be a much better second half starts (it’s gotta be better, doesn’t it?).
