The first quarter is over, and the teams have combined for 78 yards of offense. Nice. Carl Bonnell appeared to have hurt his non-throwing shoulder again late in the quarter on a run, as Johnny DuRocher is now in at quarterback. If Bonnell is out, and DuRocher gets hurt, then what? Will they hand the offense to Felix Sweetman?

Johnie Kirton got back-to-back carries to end the quarter, which says maybe he’ll be a big part of the offense. He’s lined up in the backfield again as we start the second quarter.

Washington has had good field position on every drive but hasn’t taken advantage of it. Will it happen this time?
