The Huskies are in a game for the first time this season, which is a good thing. Washington looked like it just kind of expected to win kind of like it did its first two games – probably attributable to its youth.

Northern Iowa is big and good and hurting the Huskies inside. Washington is only shooting 37.5 percent. Jon Brockman, Spencer Hawes and Artem Wallace are a combined 3-for-14. Northern Iowa also has 15 points off of 10 Washington turnovers and is beating the Huskies down the floor, which is a problem.

Bobby Jones is in the building, which generated a loud chant from the Dawg Pack.

Ryan Appleby and Justin Dentmon are the only two guys who are really scoring, each with eight points.

This will be a real interesting second half to see how Washington does under some pressure.
